Recruiting Paediatric Nurses for a hospital in Bristol

Eligibility for interviews

  • You must have 24 months experience in the last three years in an acute setting as a paediatric nurse
  • You must have passed your Academic IELTs or OET
  • You must be a registered nurse in your own country
  • You must take the paediatric CBT

Benefits of working in the NHS

  • Once you have passed your OSCE you will be paid on a Band 5 NHS salary (£28,407 – £34,581 per annum)
  • You are entitled to 27 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. This increases to 33 days with years of service plus 8 bank holidays
  • Unless you opt out you will pay into the NHS pension scheme which the hospital also pays into

  • A standard working week in the NHS is 37.5 hours. Nurses often work three 12.5 hour shifts a week meaning you can have four days off to explore or pick up extra shifts if you wish.
